Engine 3, formerly 3 40 was purchased in the mid-year of 1997 and was received in early 1998. Engine 3 is a 1998 Freightliner FL70/EEI equipped with a Hale 1500GPM pump, and a 1000-gallon tank, that seats two firefighters. It is housed at Station 2 and serves as the first engine out of that station on calls in our district and automatic/mutual aid for surrounding departments.
